A water main break in Central El Paso caused several customers to lose service for several hours Wednesday morning.
The break sent water flying into the air, some of it hitting power lines, after a gas company crew hit a water main in an alley behind Fort Boulevard near Piedras Street, El Paso Water Utilities officials said.
The 12-inch line took several hours to repair and affected 35 El Paso Water Utilities customers.
No injuries were reported.
